PRP Facials at Spring Tide Natural Health!
A Non-toxic Alternative to Botox and Fillers
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a treatment that involves purifying your own blood cells with the platelets and growth factors. These blood products stimulate collagen growth & tissue regeneration. It is a wonderful alternative to Botox, fillers, and facelifts. And because it is your own blood there is no toxicity, allergy, or disease issues.Where Can PRP Be Used for My Treatment?
The main benefit of PRP is that it is your own body tissue. The second great thing about PRP is the number of applications. PRP is used for overall facial skin rejuvenation, fine lines and deep wrinkles, around the eyes, for the cheeks, along the jaw line, acne scars, for the chest and decolletage, hair rejuvenation, and on the back of the hands. The transformation that results takes place over the course of 6 to 12 months and the results can last 12 months to 2 years! What is Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP)?
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is a concentrated sample of your own blood composed primarily of high levels of platelets. Platelets are a critical component of the wound healing process. Importantly, platelets contain growth factors that are responsible for stimulating tissue generation and repair.1-3
Harvest PRP delivers a concentration of platelets and growth factors that is roughly 4-6 times
greater than that found in whole blood.4,5 This means that you gain the benefit of a more concentrated product yielding better results than many of the systems available.
How is PRP Made?
Preparation of PRP is a simple procedure that can be performed in the office. I will draw a small volume of your blood at the time of treatment. The blood is placed in a specialized centrifuge that spins and automatically separates the red blood cells from the plasma. The plasma is then further centrifuged to concentrate the autologous platelets and hence your natural growth factors. The PRP is then available for me to use for the facial treatment. The entire process takes about 20 minutes and adds no extra time to the procedure.Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) is made from a small sample of your own blood (approximately 1.5 - 2 oz.). The process concentrates the platelets found in the blood sample. These concentrated platelets contain huge reservoirs of growth factors. Growth factors are natural components of your body. Clinical data has shown that growth factors may enhance and accelerate your body’s normal healing process.1-3,6.
What are Growth Factors?
Growth factors are necessary to initiate tissue repair and regeneration at the wound site. Growth factors derived from platelets are responsible for soft tissue repair, bone regeneration, development of new blood vessels, and stimulation of the wound healing process.1-3 The highly concentrated level of growth factors found in Harvest PRP may optimize conditions for healing.4,5
The Benefits of the Harvest System
Why is Harvest PRP preferred over Other Products or Methods? Harvest PRP delivers the optimal concentration of platelets to promote accelerated healing.4,5 Harvest PRP contains elevated levels of all your naturally occurring growth factors; these growth factors are maintained in precisely the same ratios found circulating in your body. Many other products simply don’t deliver platelets an growth factors at high enough concentrations.
Is PRP Right for You?
PRP is a fantastic treatment if you are looking for a non-toxic alternative to Botox or fillers, you want that youthful and healthy looking skin (results vary depending on skin maturity), you have acne scars, you want to feel great about yourself. PRP can also be combined with Prolozone treatment to help with joint repair and adds significant improvement in healing.
PRP Facial Options
PRP Facelift involves injections
of the highly-concentrated PRP into targeted areas of the face needing a skin rejuvenation treatment. Areas would include the under the eyes, crows feet, forehead lines, furrow lines, smile lines, and scars. This is a targeted treatment and can result in significant smoothing of the skin resulting in a beautiful youthful look .
PRP Micro-needling: The PRP solution is applied to the skin in the desired treatment area and micro-needling is used to drive the PRP solution deep into the dermis. Common treatment areas include the face, neck, chest, hands, scalp (for hair), scarred skin, or other desired treatment areas – to erase wrinkles, scars, and pigmentation and create a more youthful, healthy look.
